A Country Life

It's been a lovely day, drying herbs (mostly lemon balm) and washing. The peas are starting to swell, the sweetcorn is growing well and the rabbits seemed to have left the plot alone today. I literally take one day at a time and walk up to the holding in fear and trepedation to see what else has been eaten by the pesky things. Just up the road from us a black rabbit can be seen grazing happily in the hedgrow - probably a third or fourth generation escapee. Makes me wonder if our own hutch bound bunnies are really happy......
